Cell Phones

PCMS understands that cell phones are a very important part of the middle school student’s life. With that said, they are not allowed to be used in the school building. This means before, during or after school. If it is seen in a student's hand, it will be assumed turned on. It will then be confiscated and given to the assistant principal, who will then return it to a parent or guardian. There are phones designated for each grade to use in the event a child must call a parent.

All students in the district are required to accept, sign and follow the Technology Acceptable Use Policy in order to use the technological resources offered by the Port Chester Rye Union Free School District.

Student Residency Verification Tip Line

We work to ensure that students who attend our schools actually live within the boundaries of the district.  Non-resident students may not attend school without formal permission from the Central Office and are required to pay tuition.   If you have information about any non-resident students who are attending our schools without permission, please send an email to:  nonresidencytips@portchesterschools.org.
All tips will be treated as strictly confidential.
