AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Calendar of Events

21st_CENTURY_AFTER_SCHOOL_PROGRAM__Calendar_of_events[1].docx

Cell Phones and IPODS

We, at PCMS, understand that Cell phones and IPOD-like devices are a very important part of the middle school students' life. With that said, they are not allowed to be used in the school building. This means before, during or after school. If it is seen in a student's hand, it will be assumed on, and then confiscated, given to the assistant principal, who will then return it to a parent or guardian. There are phones designated for each grade to use in the event a child must call a parent.

After School Detention

The middle school has a very strict lateness policy. If a child is late to school without an excuse, more than 4 times, they must serve detention from 2:51-3:45.

In the unfortunate event a student receives a discipline referral they may also be given up to three days detention. A parent will be notified by their child's administrator.
This detention is from 2:51 - 3:45 as well.

Students are expected to complete homework at this time.

From the Principal

HAPPY NEW YEAR PCMS

As we venture into 2012, I wish everyone in the PCMS community a very happy, healthy and academic New Year. Set high goals and work hard and good will come.

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense".

                                           Ralph Waldo Emerson
Be Great,
