    Write a letter to a relative telling him/her about the difficult time you are having during the Great Depression (include living conditions, looking for work, what you are eating, etc.) 

    OR

    Draw a picture depicting life during the Great Depression.  Be sure to color the picture.

    This assignment will count as a quiz grade.  Use the materials provided to you in class and your textbook as resources.

 The name Edgeland derives from the area of Midland Avenue and Grace Church Street in Port Chester that is located on the “edge” of Port Chester close to the border of Rye by where Home Depot now resides.  The esteemed Faculty of the Edgeland Academy are extremely energetic and set high expectations for their students all while delivering instruction that is engaging and  fun.
